Cheers. Is your offset +42 ?

I think I would now rather 17 or 18x8.

Would either a 215/35r18 or 225/40r18 be suitable ?

Thanks mate. That helped heaps. So it looks like the perfect set up would be 18x8 +48 with 225/35r18 tyres

225/40r18 is too big and will put your rolling diameter out. 215/35r18 is the closest to stock rolling diameter for gc8.

18x8.5+35 is what i have, can confrim you will need guards rolled and decent amount of camber to fit them inside the guards
