I'm looking at changing out the seats in my 2010 WRX, because I really don't like the leather ones at the moment.

Any suggestions on a good set of front seats, that run anywhere between $400-$600?

I would keep what you have as your budget doesn't allow for better seats (in good condition anyways) Look into Spec-R Recaro's, I love my seats but who knows, they may be worth a bit too much.

Not sure if you'd consider it an upgrade, but for that kind of budget, you could always find a base model wrx being wrecked, and take the cloth seats from it. Even if the seats are destroyed, you could always swap the cloth seat covers onto your seat base and cushions. They're more grippy, harder wearing and don't get as hot in summer.

Unless you're willing to risk an insurance claim not being paid, stick to the oem seats, as they have the side airbag installed.
