Hey are they gold or silver?

I've heard one bad story about Alliance & when I went for a quote the guy said he couldn't put the OZ stickers back on. So that didn't instil a lot of faith.

Mag doctor hu, anyone been there?

Im redoing mine in about 2 weeks - was going to go to Aliance - they did my wrx wheels about 2 years ago and they looked immaculate - no complaints here.

this question gets posted all the time. I think someone should make it a "sticky"

Alliance Rim Repair in Osborne Park are good, but they are expensive. I had a quote to fix some gutter rash off my old rims and it was going to cost more than to actually replace the rim. So obviously, i didnt worry about getting them fixed.

Cheaper way to fix it is stay off the kerb's! :)

Yeah alliance, nothing but good reports. From memory about $100 or so per rim to fix.

<rant alliance="crap" simon="pissed-off">
Alliance did a shite job on one of rims, luckily it was eventaully replaced under insurance!

They repainted the rim in suppposed "Subaru gold" colour, and it turned out olive (ffs). Then I went to get some new tyres, they removed the old tyre of that particular rim and it stripped the olive paint. They then went to balance the wheel and said it had a really bad wobble...from the shitty repair.

The guy that runs the place is an an ass as well, no customer service skills what so ever! My rim took over a month to be repaired, when initally I was told 1.5 weeks and this just kept getting pushed out...no apologies or anything.

Very interested in what sort of costs im looking at and who to avoid, as im about to get my Rays redone after my big whoopsie, and I dont really want rims worth a bit of coin to be ruined.
