Rear bumper removal on GC8
 

Hi guys,

does anyone know if its possible to remove the rear bumper without taking the tailight's out???

need to get to the light/bracket that is on the lisence plate as it rattles round with the sub to tighten it up

Yes it is possiable done it yesterday.

the part i cant get too is the clips on the top of the bumper under the tailights arghH!

can sombody post up how to do it please??

Take the whole thing out insted of the skin much easier.

jump under the car, undo the 4 bolts either side (or 6 depending on who re-attached it last) i think they are 17mm. one involves dropping the drivers side tow hook and i think the pax side is an exhaust hanger. then there is a couple of small screws in the rear wheel arches that need to come off too. also you will need to unplug the lic plate lights. should take you 10 mins to do
