Default Fitting Fog Light Covers - my99

I recently bought some fog light covers, went to fit them earlier - I thought that you remove one of the screws holding to fog lights in (bottom outer), then use a longer screw in the same hole to attach the cover - doesn't line up! How have you guys fitted yours? Do you just use a self tapper and screw into the plastic?

Help appreciated.

They need a bracket. Pretty easy to make.

Note that when you screw your covers on, they are just as easy
for a thief to screw off and steal. Think of an alternative way to hold them
which is not so obvious. That way they are less likely to get stolen.

If you want the genuine brackets they are about $20 ea side. If you get the proper bracket you can leave the old foglights in.

I found on my old car the best way to stop them being stolen was to use a really weird screw. I got the bit to do it up from sweetmans.

Good luck.

Fitted mine with the classy cable ties, no screws needed, they just clipped in.

Cable Ties FTW!!!
