Does any one know if WRX STI 17inch rims will fit on an my15 WRX STI? or will they hit the breaks? Want to get a set for track days.

PCD will match up, if they are the same offset/width then you shouldn't have issues. I know that the 2015 WRX owners have been buying and putting on the 2015 STI rims without issues.

They are 5x114.5 pcd 17x7.5 im just worried that the 1inch smaller may hit the breaks. Not too keen to drive an hour to get them to find they hit the breaks.

Will 20" rims on my 2011 STI be ok or will I incur any problems? Got the standard 18" BBS rims on there at the moment. It's been lowered but only by 25mm. Looking to get 20's so I can lower it more to close the wheel arch gap but still have the ground clearance I have now. I'd get 19's to be safe but found the wheel I want and it only comes in 18" or 20"
Any thoughts? Thanks |

Edited for less dick post.
1. Never put 20's on a wrx 2. Going to a bigger wheel will mean a lower profile tyre = same circumference or close to it, so you will have same wheel gap. 3. If you want less gap, go lower. Last edited by Brodz; 24-07-2015 at 06:51 PM. |
