Hey guys just a quick update,
Getting the rear fenders rolled tomorrow and fitting a set of 4 Rota Titan 18x9.5 +38 with Bridgestone RE003 265/35/18 on Thursday along with alignment and balanced etc. For now they will be going on a stock suspension as I haven't made up my mind what to purchase (Springs or some high-end coil like KW v3).

Is there any other modification/s i need to do on the car to get these rims and tyres on?

These wheels / tyres are the same size (although different brand tyres so may be a little narrower / wider);

On the stock suspension you should not have any issues, maybe it will look a little silly, but shouldn't rub anywhere on the guards or the struts.

If you go low on springs maybe get some Whiteline camber bolts to tuck the wheels into the guards better, otherwise open your wallet for a decent set of coilovers.

I never used to have any rubbing but now rub slightly on bumps at the front. I have lots of castor though.

One of the many reasons why i chose particular tyre and size for my wheels. May i ask why the -2 camber?

Thanks for the input all

The wheel gap will look a little silly for the time being i agree. Shouldn't be too long till i decide what to get. Planning on getting something not too stiff or bouncy for daily driving.

The negative camber is to tuck the top of the tyres in under the arches.

but beware that coilovers will not solve the problem of tyres rubbing on the inside...in fact in most cases will exacerbate the problem due to lowering of the spring plates below the tyre allowing the tyre to rub on the spring itself which isn't the case with a standard strut. With coilovers the idea is to use adjustable strut tops to lean the top of the coilover in so you can get suitable negative camber with less negative adjustment at the bottom of the strut....effectively you are moving the top of the tyre away from the strut.

Real good info to keep in mind if I go the coil path. I wont cheap out either. Whats your take on springs on stock struts for the time being. Eg. Eibach or Racecomps springs just for the lower look. Also read that aftermarket springs springs on stock struts will shorten the life and wear out the strut faster?
