According to Wheel Offset Calculator | Tiwing.com with the new rims you'll have 1mm less inner clearance and your rims will sit 25mm further out. How does another 25mm look to you at your ride height? Would you fit your current tyres on the wider rims?

Atm can get one finger between tire and gaurd rear on tires sit just up under the gaurd by maybe 5mm.These rims would be ok at 8" wide bugger just lucky I haven't bought them yet. Cheers

At the moment I'm really loving the cosmis racing xt206r, 99% sure you will need flares and or guard rolling to make them fit, but look tough as!

Something around 8-8.5 with +40ish offset is a good place to start. There's a ridiculous amount of offset/width fitment info for Subarus on the web if you go looking.

Try and keep the offset at around 45-48....

Offset and width are needed together. As you could have a 6inch wide rim with 40 offset. And a 10 inch rim with 40 offset. And the amount the wheel sticks in or out is not going to be anywhere near the same, even though offset is the same.
