Offset and width are needed together. As you could have a 6inch wide rim with 40 offset. And a 10 inch rim with 40 offset. And the amount the wheel sticks in or out is not going to be anywhere near the same, even though offset is the same.
Yes.....the idea is to try and not stray too far from OE offset though... |
Looking for ideas on wheels for a 99 GC8 which clear the front brembo conversion. Currently have GD wheels on but looking for something wider to fill out the guards. Thinking 17x8?
I like the multispoke look similar to OZ Racing style in gold. Can anyone share their experiences and pics. Cheers |
I have 17x8 CR Kai that easily clear the Brembo front and rear conversion maintaining the 5 x 100 pattern. Relatively common wheel choice for the GC, but it does suit the body well IMO.

Hi I’m looking at some Hussler 18”x8.5 +22 would they fit on a 2005 wrx they came off a brz cheers
|
18x8.5 +45/43 is already fairly flush. +22 with a 235 tyre will need some fender work and possible camber adjustment ti fit nicely.
|
Cheers thanks
