Default offset

Hey guys, just a quick question.

What is the offset for the rims on a '97 WRX?

and if i get rims with a slightly different offset will it make much difference? will they rub on the guards?

cheers,

-Trizo

How much of a difference does the half inch make between 7.5 and 8 inch wide rims?

about 12.5 mm?

It make a difference what tyre you can mount on the rim safely. depends on the model really, x8 on a gc8 is stretching it
