Hey guys, I'm interested in a set of rims on sale on another forum for my Pig STI...

The specs are;

18x9 +30... 5x114.3

I know the PCD is good but I'm a bit worried that the offset will have the rims sit too far out, would this be the case?

I would not be keen to get the rims if there is any guard rolling or crazy camber adjustment required.

If these will not fit, what is usually the best fitment for our Subaru's without guard rolling and camber adjustment?

Thanks in advance, cheers.

you will definatley need guard rolling with those specs unless you want to run 4deg+ camber

something like 18x9 +50 would work with no guard rolling and a bit of camber

Pretty sure that's the offset and size Tino has so they will fit but you'll
need some aggresive camber and probably have the guards rolled.

Crap lol. Well I really want these wheels so it looks like I'll be guard rolling.

What's the limits of camber on stock suspension here does anyone know? Noob question I know but I'm knew to this epic fitment wheel game.

Thanks mate, appreciate the help guys. Looks like Coilovers will be coming sooner than expected. Will post up pictures once it's all done and dusted.

You won't neccessarily need coilovers, just adjustable strut tops.
But honestly, doing 18 x 9 with +30 is just asking for all sorts of problems. See many previous posts on these issues. Running excess camber in a street application is a recipe for mega tyre wear, lots of tram-lining and combined with a stupid offset, poorer steering response.
Honestly, you need to talk to someone in the know (eg Wheels World) to appreciate the full ramifications.
And ask yourself, do you want something for looks alone, or do you want it to be functional as well? If the latter, stick to something with offset no less than about +45....

im running 18x8.5 +30 with Rcomps (245) which probaly equate to a 250 in normal series rubber..

Im running -3.4 camber front and rear to squeeze the rims in and thats with the rears rolled..

If you ran a 235 series tyre then you can probaly fit them with less negative camber, but then the tyres might look a little stretched on a 9" wide rim...

Im rectifying the rear with adjustable lateral links to push it in around 5mm to make them fit properly.. Front im getting widebody fenders (but you want nice camber on the front in any case)..

As Steve has said issues with alot of negative camber = tyre wear..
