From those pic's looks like it's paint to me 'not undercoat', seeing as most of the black has been removed it's probably going to be easier to give the rims a good clean and scuff back and repaint them.

they are 04 WRX rims sprayed black if that helps

The few times i have had panel work done I always put my stock rims back on to send it in for just this reason.

Wax and grease remover. Also eculiptus oil is awesome to get stuff off

It looks like 'in this case', acrylic has been used to spray the rims(?), so its not going to matter what he uses to clean it off with.

Which dodgy shops are you going to that don't clean up any accidental overspray man

well after a lot of elbow grease and time i managed to clean off all the overspray using thinners, came up a treat

I have just a deposit on these rims. I got them from tech9 tyres in Subi
They are Katana R2 dark grey 18x8

I used the same wheel as an example of the colour I am getting my Ultraleggera's powdercoated!

$1800.00 with nexen tyres. These were on special for $1500 with cheaper tyres i upgraded the tyres.
