Attn Bugeye owners...

Anyone rolling 18x9's? If so what are your camber settings?
I'm in the process of putting on some 18x9 +35's, I'm on coilovers but no
camber tops, just bolts and 0 camber

my suspension guy told me to stop smoking pipe when I asked him to fit 17x9 on my bug, he said its do able but I was going to spend a bit to make it work, and require a new alignment each time i wanted to run my track rims.....

I test fit 18 x 9 +35 one time and another member on here ran them for a while - both cars 05 STI, they were 34 GTR rims iirc (I should have bought them )
You will need a a lot of camber especially the rears and fenders to be pulled to make it fit in a bug unless you increase the height to stock it should be ok?

I then when even more silly and got 18 x 9 +22 (check my album these are not mexican spec lol)
The rears need to be pulled and fronts needed to be rolled I run 3 ish deg camber on the rears and only 2/2.5? on fronts
On Coilover HSD HR - top plates on all 4, no camber bolts

Biggest issue I face was the extra lip on the rear guards of my STI which made it hard for me to pull the fender without doing pannel damage ... if you didnt full the fender it would slice though the side walls on hard bumps

im running 18x8.75 +35 only needed to roll the guards on the rear. But i have coil overs and running a decent amount of camber on the rear. Buy some whiteline camber bolts to give you the adjustment you don't have.

I ran this on a bug, no rubbing. Expect to run between -2 and -3 neg camber with tyre stretch.. Turn in and general steering feedback was a big step backwards from stock. No idea on exact settings, tech9 being the pros they are had no idea what they set it to.
