Go on Nasioc and see what other guys are running on their 06/07 STIs to get an idea of what is possible. Personally i would stick as close to stock offset as possible.

I think stock is +48?

+52 is stock for the 05-07 STI OEM rims IIRC

This is a very good website just filter 05-07 sti and go nuts heaps of rims models on there

What size and colour taylor?

Re30's in 18x8.5 weigh 7.7kg
Cr-kai in 18x8.6 weigh 9.07kg

Go the re30's they both look similar anyway.

If you want your wheels to be extra aggressive go for a ridiculous offset. For example i'm running 18x9.5 +30 with 265/35/18 on my wheels and stock for my car is 17x8 +53 235/45/17.
However this is a Gen 3 hatch.

Having said that, they look alright. You're not going to have much sidewall though...
