anyone know if 18x9.5 +38 and/or 18x9.5 +20 would fit a GC8 running fully adjustable coilovers?

you can make anything fit with camber and tyre choice... but it depends if you want drive-ability or not...

here is a gc8 with 18x9.5 +30 and stretched to shit tyres and has pulled guards and flares... IMO you can find a good balance between driveability and looks but its a fine line.

this is a good thread for gc8 wheel fitment

Hey guys,

Have a enquire about fitment/stance apologies if this is already covered etc,
Just looking for advice/knowledge new to it.

So I've got a 04 foz XT with the current setup:
- lowered on Standard R4 Coilovers
- All 4 guards rolled
- XXR 527, 18x8.75 +35 offset
- 225/40/18

so enquire is I probably chose the wrong wheel spec an tyre size for start ( tyre is abit too stretched) etc but just want to know what wheel and tyre fitment would fill out the guards? I've still got about 4-5cm gap which is really getting on me. Would I be able to get away with it on a 235 tyre or last resort ill just sell the current wheels and get a 9 or so plus width and even with that would futher work require fitting? lowering anymore is really last option aswell.

Any help much appreciated cheers.

How much room do you have between the wheel and the struts ? Are you wanting the same style wheels ? just keep a similar offset but go to a 9.25

Hmm forgot to measure that will do it tomorrow arvo. Yeah still going to be keeping the same ones wont loose much if I resell for a new set w/ diff specs, figured i'd probably be looking at a 9+ is there any other guard work required to fit that size and higher other than rolled guards? never had wheels that wide lol

Any chance you would let me trial fit the XXR's? I am thinking of getting some and I am concerned about the offset being to high

I'm currently running silver on silver and I like it and think it looks good.
