On the street obviously. I did all the handling mods before power mods, sways, mounts bushings, coils and brace. U do get great handling, but u never really ultilise all the handling mods on perth's road, and they reduce ride comfort quite a bit. A nice coilover is more than enough. I never had brake fade in my wrxs slider brakes on the street.

As for power mods, u can enjoy more often, pretty much when u accelerate. On the track, power mods will affect reliability more than daily driving.

Sorry for the hijacking.

I've never seen a car with RPF1's that doesn't suit them.
They look good on literally anything haha

I don't really like them in 8" or less wide, I would have went with another wheel all together if they were like the first pic.

8" and less is like this:

9" and up is like this (mine):

Here is a the real RPF1 they are designed after, I'd like one to put a round glass top on to go next to my arm chair for drinks.

Default Enkei Tuned by STI wheels for Swap or Sell

Ive got a set of 05 or 06 Tuned by STI wheels (5x100) that I'm looking to trade/sell.

18x7.5 with Pirelli P1 tyres fitted 80% tread wear. Ive recently had them Refurbished so in brand new condition minus one small paint flake due to tyre being fitted roughly.

Looking for BBS LM, or something with dish... or RPF1s.. would prefer white gold or silver.

For anyone interested Yokohama is currently doning buy 3 get one free:
Yokohama Tyres | Buy 3 Get 1 Free

That would bring the AD08R down to a very reasonable price.

My rims are 9" with +45 offset. With standard struts I had about 1cm clearance from the strut and it would rub on the guard. With coilovers and rolled lips at -1° camber it has about 1mm clearance from the coilover collar (if they were 18s it would just clear the collar though). I'd say +36 offset would be nearly 1cm closer to the struts if they are the same as the 02 WRX which means they would rub on my standard struts and on my coilovers. The 2005 is still a GD but the struts are different so I can't give a 100% positive answer, if someone is selling them used ask to test fit. If it's a shop you can ask them perhaps if they have them in stock but I think it's going to be really close.

Depends on tyre stretch, how low you want to go, how stiff suspension, and camber. Have you got coilovers?

Yes, it will fit. Guards will need to be rolled regardless.

If you want to keep about 30-40mm wheel gap and have stiff coilovers; not much camber should be needed (-1.5 max) - even to fit 235mm tyres. Much lower and you're looking at 225 or even 215mm tyres (I'd stick with 225mm), more camber (might be able to go -2.5 if not wanting hella flush), and perhaps guard pulling on the rear.

I had 18x9.5 +38 on the 03 WRX with lowered springs and stock struts, and with 225mm tyres I could get away with about -1 to -1.2 camber on the rears and about a 35mm gap. 235mm tyres scrubbed with hard cornering and too much speed over speed bumps.

At the moment I've just had 18x9 +35 with 235mm tyres fitted to the 02 STi and with about -1.5 (we're guessing as I'm going back next week to have the coilovers dropped and alignment done) on the rears and about 35-38mm gap it scrubs when cornering through a dip. I intend to have it dropped about 20mm rear and front to keep about 15mm (finger width) gap but will obviously need to increase negative camber and maybe pull the rear guards.

If you love your 18x9 +33 rims go for them! Just be aware you may get scrubbing sometimes and will definitely increase inner tyre wear unless you're at a stock ride height (which I have assumed you're not).
