Where to get interior painted???

Hey just wondering if anyone knows where i can some interior bits like dash and doors painted and possibly retrimmed.

I have a MY00 and the interior is pretty ordinary plus it looks quite dull, as i am hoping to put my car in for Motorvation 08'

Is it possible tio change the colour of the stock coloured part of the seats.

Any opinions or feedback would be wicked!!!!!!!

dunno about retrimming the seats etc,
but with repainting the plastics, the key is in the preperation of the surface. Make sure it is cleaned and preped properly. Make sure u use a paint that can withstand a fair wack of heat. You dont want them to crack and peel in the summer months.

There was an aritcle on colour coding the interior parts of your car in a previous editon of autosalon magazine. im pretty sure i have the issue at home, i'll try scan it and post it up if i get a chance.

i have tried to paint the interior of my 1st car (hyundai s coupe)

turned out alright but a bit shit.

was hoping to get name of a business or quality painter for interior bits.

Just a place where they repaint interior or somethin

you could do it yourself if you have enough patents. clean the surface with oil and greese remover, then coat with flexi primer, then paint with lots of light coats, and then clear coat use roughly the same amount of coats of clear as you did paint and give plenty of time inbertween coats.

also west side car audio do interior painting but i have no idea of the quality so could be a disaster.

whith the retrim of the seats iv been told that its not worth the hassel and money because the fabric is glued to the seat. its cheaper to buy aftermarket seats. i suppose you would have to retrim the back seats though.

hope that helps, let us know how it goes. im sure some of us will want to try it after we see your finished product.
