Default BRANT/Sigma System Repair, Disabling and Removal

Hi guys,

As you know the Brant works well when new, but is always prone to problems after some time. This creates a very annoying problem especially when you need the transport.

I will run a service or repair your Brant for $120. If it cannot be repaired, I will diasble it for you so you can drive your car until you upgrade to another alarm system.

Removal of Brant -- P.WRX $220

Rules of engagement:
If you are near the Bentley or metro area, I will be glad to drop by and get the vehicle going. Otherwise, vehicle is required to be towed to the workshop.
If the Brant system is not repaireable, we will not totally remove the Brant but will only disable it as total removal requires a lot more labor hours.

QFT. Some of us have had little or no probs with the Brant. For me and many others on here, it does the job it was intended to do. Please try not to use absolutes where it doesn't apply.

That's good for you. Not using any absolutes here. It is just like saying," Your Subaru engine is great, but occasionally when your alternator plays up bring it in and we will repair the alternator for you. And if it is unrepairable, we will remove it and put another alternator in (can be any brand that is of good quality and reasonably priced).

Not telling you to rip off a unit in complete working order.

Just offering a plain simple service to those who encounter problems with this unit.

If people want the service they will visit or contact you, if they don't they won't. Simple! I think it is a very reasonable price for people looking at alternatives or at least for them to still get around and drive there precious...

good to see people offering a good, well priced service to potential problems. I had issues with mine and was pissed off as i couldnt drive my car. Mao rang me on his own accord and helped out, 10 minutes later my car was running after a day of scratching my head. if you dont have issues with your brant system then dont worry about the thread, its obviously not relative to you.

Other than the diabling service, I can now offer you an alternative to the Brant keypad, which means I can remove it and replace that keypad with an Autowatch keypad system, while still working with the rest of the Brant system.

Please see my Autowatch thread:
