Subaru EJ motors run very high crankcase pressures and the oil flow must be kept optimum as well.
I will recommend a solution for you guys.
One of the main causes of engine problems on an EJs are the bearings. The majority of the causes of these issues are due to the lack of motor oil in the oil pan (sump) and passages. Also, the lack of rigidity in the crank case is also another problem facing this engine design. Under extensive research, Tomei Powered which decided to develop a product that securely remedies these problems. This baffle stiffener will help strengthen the left and right side of the crankcase to help provide the added support with its dual structural design. The rubber baffle design greatly aids the regulation of the oil supply. This gives added control to reduce blowby for EJ owners who use their cars for high performance driving.

Trip was good all the way. Stepped back to Perth and the stress just reappears.

Will be bringing in only the Tomei stuff and give the copies a run for its money. Pricing will be about A$700 if the currency exchange allows for Genuine Tomei sets.

To cope with the high crankcase pressure in the EJs, I will recommend the Tomei Baffle Stiffener to get improved oil flow. Please see the first post in this thread.
