and apparently bathurst is on this weekend. shows how much its stopped being a motor race and dropped off my radar.

Got to say I'm with you on the V8's. The racing is still pretty good but there just isn't anyone in the field to get excited about. Lots of good drivers but just no personality like Brocky, Moffett, Johnson and the old boys.

Still remember Brocky powersliding across the top of the hill, one handed waving to the crowd. You'll just never see that again.

If anyone tried it these days they would be very promptly told to look after the car.

Awesome to see Webber extend lead to 14 points but with both Alonso and Vettel = 2nd he's going to need a win soon to make things a little more comfortable.
