The Spec C should also have the vf36 twin scroll turbo and the twin tank top mount intercooler!!

By the way the Jap Sti and Spec c motors are exactly the same, the only difference is the JDM Sti has a VF37 twin scroll turbo, the main difference is the lighter body panels the Spec C has and the better TMIC.

cheers

At the end of the day...
check the applied model code on the id plate (left hand strut tower) and then go to the sti website and check the list of homologated models to see what the car was/is.
Doing this will find the truth, and separate the real spec c's from the rest.

Let's be honest here, when all is said and done, none of them when done in Australia are real Spec C's anyway, and I have no issues saying this as I have one myself...

Here's another example of the work performed by Auto Evolution:

Originally an 02 bug-eye Impreza N/A, its had a complete STi Spec C conversion...entire drivetrain, brakes, suspension, interior, bodykit, lights, etc...all up costing about $33,000 on the road

Shabir also fitted my rotors and pads! they did a great job at a great price with the best customer service They also looked over the car and did a couple quick fixes whilst giving me handy advice on a few parts that wer on the way out. I highly recommend them, they will look after you and save you money which is hard to find these days.

You can reach Shabir on 0432 057 310 for any of your subaru needs.
