anyone playing gt5-P online??
 

Is there a way of setting up ur own races with your mates somehow?

At this stage you cant organise a race that includes your friends. The only way me and a mate were able to race together was to both choose to enter the same race at the same time and hope it put us in the same race (which it did :) ) ....Stupid i know, hopefully they will sort this out soon.

^ Yeah I'd think it'd be a definate option to race with mates on the proper GT5 but here's hoping they do an online update with it for GT5-p

Been playing GT5P way too much lately :p
Private rooms are the one thing I really want! So many rammers and crap racers online. I pretty much race only 750pp Suzuka, and due to all the sand traps, one bump and it takes ages to get back on track.
Otherwise, online is heaps fun (and can earn LOTS of money, quickly!).

yeah agree...lots of crap drivers. If someone pisses me off too much i'll give them a gentle push into the pit lanes and that solves my problems :D

As expected, as the game gets older, all the rammer/non-"true"-racers are starting to move on (probably to GTA IV), leaving more "quality" racers on the servers.

yeah g'day new to the forums here. totally addicted to gt5p (driving the sti of course). i do heaps of time trials. pro simulation, sti, trying to get at least top ten in most of the tracks. fuji speedway forward, pro sim, with '06 sti i'm in 7th spot. online name's trackss. the names a relic left over from bygone days when i owned an ss commo :o

GT5P is seriously stuffing up uni for me :p
I'm more about racing others online (mainly cos i don't have the persistence for time trials!). Usually on 600PP Suzuka, 600PP Fuji or 750PP Suzuka (all expert, pro-physics of course :D ).

cheers. yeah i have had days off work, just to play the game before :icon_scra. cant imagine when the full version comes out... probably get fired or something :D i'll look out for ya when i play next online, hopefully in the full version we'll be able to set up a private race for small groups
