Plain and simple, it will take a HUGE movement to knock WOW off its top position. Main thing it has going for it is that it can pretty much on any computer. With the new expansion coming out soon, they are going all out on it apparently simply for the fact that they have never had this much comp before, AOC, Warhammer. They have to pull up their socks and not realease a shit expansion like BC was. Cheers mates.

I think WOW is like a big whale where each competitor starts to take small bites out of it or large bites in AOC's case. The older it gets the staler its content gets and even though it has more content its 100% played whereas AOC and WAR might have 1/4 the content but its 100% fresh.

People who would have played WOW or play it QUIT and then play AOC or WAR and with each new MMORPG another chunk of WOW disolves and is replaced by chinese players.



WOW is going to do a Lineage and go from dominant to decline after AOC and WAR provide the only real competition it has faced so far.

AOC requires a beast of a computer to run - most people don't have such a computer

dx10 is a pos, and aoc wont be getting a dx10 client till end of the year, plus it will run worse than the dx9 version.

wow wont be topped because of the system requirements of aoc, its that simple.
