What I can't understand is why have they targeted iiNet? Is it because Telstra/Optus and the like are too big?

There has always been a simple solution to piracy - Sell legitimate digital copies with no DRM at a reasonable price. The majority of people will not pay iTunes the same price for a digital album, when you can buy the CD at a shop for the same price (or sometimes cheaper). How many PC games are there where it is easier for the consumer to use a pirate copy (which removes things like you need the CD in the drive to play) than use the legitimate copy? But all that happens is they put more and more silly copy protections that make it harder to use their stuff.
