Finally got around to buying a copy of GT5 today.
Has been fun so far, really think I need to invest in a G25
Sad to hear that your unable to upgrade or play around with the brakes

I had a bit of a play of this at a mates place this afternoon. Racing the carts was good fun, but not being able to upgrade the brakes is a major let down. How ever having the tyre smoke building up more then previous games I've played made doing skids fun. Overall I was pretty impressed with my sort experience, but not so much that I'll go and get a ps3 just to have it.

That's just my opinion though

Maybe its just me but I prefer Forza 3 (it feels much more engaging). The whole "bumper car" thing in GT is rubbish (was ok in GT3 back when crash simulations weren't really around but not today).

Dont get me wrong, the driving physics, special events and photo modes are 1st class (def ahead of Forza in that respect) but it doesn't feel as lively or dare I say as fun FM3. Badly needs brake upgrade option, decent crash/damage system (NFS Shift was surprisingly good in terms of crash sims but the steering sucked donkey balls) and more NOISE from the cars!

Meh, whatever, lets go Forza 4!!!

Just my 2c (anti-flame suit: ON...come on you GT5 fanboy's ).

Played it in a cinema last night, couldn't get the 3G to work but damn it was good fun. Can see lots of time being wasted!

If those Lotus cars handle like that in real life I'd never buy one. That's just ridiculous.

Getting tired of the AI on the other cars too. As mentioned ^^ its very GT3. I'd happily accept a compromise on graphics definition to get something a little more realistic in the game play. It really is a shame they didn't look at this.

My Elise doesn't handle like that, at least in the dry. In the wet its a handful. I think its hard to simulate the trickier handling cars like an Elise as you rely on the feel from the steering, seat etc so much more when you're near the limit. They should probably tone it down a bit and make it easier.

EVO's and R35's are very accurate though , especially B spec mode
