I couldnt break 1:31 with my STi V2.. 430BHP atm.

Might have to get a V6 or MY11 STi for this.

Avoid the MY10/11. Too heavy. I thought it'd be worth the weight due to it being much more rigid and well set up. Now I'm not so sure. 100kg heavier than '05 Spec C; over 200kg heavier than GC8.
1:25 bracket with the '10 Sti.
Lightened to max, all the fruit (suspension, box, rigidity, full soft slicks) and power-wise I ended up with 472hp (limit for comp is set to 473 - 472 was chance!)... and it's slowly crept up somehow. Now on 474. go figure.
It's lightened to 1,250kg odd. I'm thinking I can take a sec off that time but with Mr Bird running 1:23s already in the '05 Spec C (100kg lighter in stock guise for '05 vs '10), I'm thinking that lightness is the key here. GC8 here I come...

I can post up a replay if u guys want ;D

But i think you should require people doing it in Time Attack mode, as there can be a major cut towards the end which can save at least a second on the lap.

What are your car specs bird?!! Want to know badly.
1:24.6 is about my limit with '10 STi.
Ps: any way to save a replay file to copy to computer or do you have to film it/record it somehow?

I'll have to check them. But i de-tuned my car to fit in with the regulations. Was at 530hp, but put it down to 473 exactly.

It's got full mods. Suspensions, soft racing tyres, all weight reductions, and all hp mods with some i took off to make it 473bhp.

It's also got the full Race Mods kit.

This is a pic of it: http://i.imgur.com/Eauvz.jpg

Save the replay and export it to movies. Then copy it via usb stick to your computer afaik.

The cars have a ware in period where they get better the more you use them. Then they peak and will need an oil change, engine rebuild etc etc

Hmmm k, not sure how to export it to movies section...
But if you could, replay of you would be much appreciated! Would love to see the lines you're taking!

New car, Cam. Compete in GT mode, get cashola and get into something more competitive. No point flogging a dead horse!
The 05 Spec C is reduced to around 1050kg when you chuck the race kit on it. Massive saving already, and that's before you even start buying parts and adding more HP.
Do it and you'll be on an even level with more people (car-wise)
