Modded Wii Help
 

Hi All,

I finally had my Wii modded.

It is running Gamma Loader.

Anyway, I have some iso files. If i try and mount them on my computer, they say that they couldn't be opened.

If I throw the ISO onto a USB and load it through Gamma loader on the Wii, it says no .dol or .elf files found.

I am clearly doing something wrong. Can somebody please enlighten me?

I havnt used gamma loader, Im running cfg loader, but it is probably the same principle.
I have a hard drive formated to wbfs which is dedicated to the wii only
I run wbfs manager on my computer and use this to convert the iso files and dump them to the hard drive
plug it into wii and away she goes

Wiiflow is the easiest to load games from usb and Hdd's.

Found it I think

I think gamma loader is only for launching dvd backups,
which means you will have to use imgburn to burn your iso files to disc and then launch the disc from gamma loader
you will need cfg loader of wiiflow or gl loader to run off of a hard drive or memory stick

I have Gamma loader and gl loader as well. All I saw GL Loader do though is rip the dvd to usb

yep Run GL loader
just put your games on a wbfs formated hard drive with wbfs manager and it should work providing you have the correct ios installed for the games you want to play, but thats another story, get the loader working first

you may want to upgrade gl loader to a better system to play newer games like COD

edit : if you have riped a game to a usb device then gl loader should now play that game ?
it should be in your directory of games when you start gl loader

OK, Yep I ran the WBFS App, and I tried Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2011, but it now says Error #002 I presume that is because it is a new game than the GL Loader being R17?

I use usb loader gx with a 320gb WBFS formatted hdd (games put on with WBFS manager), been my favourite setup.

edit: For above, I know usb loader gx has a +002 error fix thing/patch where you just turn it on for specific games if it occurs. Maybe try a new loader.

Check out gbatemp website/forums, has EVERYTHING you need and is where all the latest loaders etc. are updated. Just have to sort through all the information.
