Default Turbo timer on 06 wrx

i have a problem fixing a Apexi(pen style) TT into my wrx as the workshop say's that it will interfere with the alarm system...is that true??? Help needed..Anyone has done it?

Try running a search, this has been covered a few times over, this should start u off: http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/showthre...ht=turbo+timer

No need for one, the installation cost will make it almost worth leaving the car idling while you get ur bag outta the boot, etc. Drive discreetly for the last 5 mins of ur trip, get out, grab ur things, when the brant starts to chirp (anti hijack warning) switch it off..

Here we go again!!

YOU DO NOT NEED A TURBO TIMER ON A WRX.... spend your money on something useful, or if you've already bought one, sell it!

thanks guys...sorry didnt notice that this issue was discussed previously... is there a boost cut in our cars? i was told that there is no use getting a boost controller cause the factory ECU will disable the increase of boost..true??

True you will need a reflash if you want to increase the boost.
