I know of a certain conversion and (gx spec c). Rego papers say IMPREZA.
Insurance regard it as a STI. |

I think you gotta be willing to fork out at least 10k whichever way you go Kym. Its either 10k worth of conversion or 10k put towards a WRX. For the money you'll get for the wagon, your looking at 100,000km+ bug eye i suppose. Somehow i dont think you'll be happy with that.

Exactly, I really wouldnt wanna buy a car with more than 50 thou on the clock. I think i keep my car as is, and eventually, when I can afford to, buy an 07 wrx hatch or 08, and transfer all the stuff I have to that and sell the Impreza off.
Shame though, I love my hatch, just want it to go faster... |

you could pick up a seccond hand wrx/sti turbo and pop that on. dont know how the engin will like it though but if you keep it on low boost could make your hatch fun. there's probly other complications though?

Turbo manifold with a TD04, big fuel reg, SAFC, top mount cooler , zorst, and the motor would most likely cope with a 6-10spi without an issue.
