Balancing Globes - How do you do it?

Heyas,

Got a new set of globes on the MY01. After parking close to the garage door with the lights on, it seems that the left hand side is pointing higher than the right.

I popped the bonnet and played around with the housings, but the globes are fastened in correctly and there seems to be no movement in the housings.

I read in the service manual to get them balanced, you need to speak to Subaru. Can anyone tell me the process of how to do this?

Cheers

Richard

You need to adjust them using the 2 adjustors on the back of the head light
there will be one that adjusts height and one that adjusts it's movement sideways
they are two bolts that have 8mm heads and phillips that do the adjustment, though i think the owners manual tells you which ones do what. I think that you adjust them to be about 450-500mm off the ground at around 4m (shining onto a wall)

No worries .. I'll have another look though the manual .. You are talking about the Bugeye headlamp assembly yeah?

I've noticed just above the indicator lamp, there is a philips screw which you move left/right, which has a plastic wheel below it, which in turn does something else.

I understood this as being the way to remove the parking globe .. Maybe i was wrong. As i do remember that being the one which has the problem.

i think in the bugeye you have to take out the grill, and head light assembily to change the parker light globe.
