removal of cd / radio from my00
 

need to remove the cd/ radio from the car
is it easy to do and what steps are invloved
b4 i stuff it up , please advise

Very Easy :D

Remove the plastic trim around the hand brake first (2 screws in centre console), then remove plastic trim from around the gear shift (just pops out), then that will allow you to pop out the plastic trim around the stereo/climate control etc (this needs some encouragement but it just pops out!)

Once thats off you'll see 4 screws securing the stereo mounting bracket to the car, remove those and the whole stereo and bracket will slide out.

The rest is straight forward. :walk:

yours is different

pull out the cup holder, there are 2 screws behind it unscrew these and remove the unit then simply pop off the facia there are 4 clips holding it in place twist it a little to help it pop off easier.
