2 door STI
 

hey does anyone know if subaru made a 2 door MY00 STI

only for the WRC.

2DR was MY99 (version 5)
4DR was MY00 (version 6)

Australia only got the sedan version of the MY00 sti (aka version 6). the 400 or so examples of the 2 door we got beforehand were all version 5 (MY99). pretty sure japan would have made a 2 door version 6 but obviously it was only sold domestically. other than the p1 2 door which was a uk spec model. dunno if anyone imported a 2 door version 6....

The MY00 2 door STi (version 6) has the DCCD control in it.

2 Door for the win.

thats why i bought a bug eye...

i wonder which chassis is more rigid, the 2 door sti or the 4 door sti.

4 door is more rigid and the 2 door is heavier. In japan you could buy a 2dr gl / lx etc. If you were interested in doing a conversion a shell is not impossible to come by.

Also for the rally people unless you put clip in rear windows the rear suspension is an absolute pain in the ass to get to through the roll cage.

Still if I had of found a 2dr when I built mine I would have grabbed it.
