Does sound cool, damn useful too. I should have paid the extra $100 to get Launch Control enabled on my Verso tune.

Will fuck your turbo.

RichX 23-05-2007 05:56 PM

Yeah? How's that .. I know Anti-Lag would fuck your Turbo .. but Launch Control ..

joey89 23-05-2007 05:59 PM

Launch Control is still fuel cut i believe . . .

BeeR is ignition cut which is different . . .

POLARBEAR666 23-05-2007 06:07 PM

It basically just starts cutting ignition which dumps heaps of unburnt fuel into the up pipe and turbo and gets lit and you get semi antilag. Just without the controlled backfires.

why not just hold the motor @ a specific rpm? (electronically) don't need to "cut" or "smash" off anything....

sky_sti 23-05-2007 09:19 PM

hrrmmm interesting so the verso tune with the launch control is a no no?

Chrus 23-05-2007 09:33 PM

verso launch control/assist is fine. I have used it in several motorsport applications so far and my bugeye just keeps comming back for more :)

POLARBEAR666 23-05-2007 10:18 PM

NOTE: the duration of the BEE R LIMITER is adjustable.... so I imagine you could set it so that the cut is very very short and therefore the revs may rise a little over your target launch each second but probably put the turbo under much less stress as the cut is not passing so much extra unburnt fuel into the mix.
