Murtaya kit car, WRX as donor vehicle, 925kg
I've scanned and hosted an article from Which Kit Car magazine reviewing the thing. It's 8 pages with some excellent feedback on it and nice shots of the interior, worth a read for sure:
Murtaya.PDF, 12.2MB (yes it's upside down, flip it in acrobat) It apparently has an amazing chassis. Since it uses the Subaru engine, driveline, suspension etc the potential of this thing is incredible. 925kg... www.adrenalinemotorsport.co.uk and www.murtaya.net - The guys responsible Looks nice, here's some galleries: http://www.madabout-kitcars.com/252/252picgallery.htm http://www.supercars.net/cars/3627.html And a pic for the truely lazy: |

Sweet ride. Does it still have the boxer exhaust note?

Read the PDF, page 7 has a partial list of components taken from the donor. (pretty much everything mechanical, wiring, even seat belt, electric windows, switchgear and controls...)
I'd be very interested on info about getting this thing road legal in WA, does anyone have any experience or knowledge of the rules and regulations regarding self builds? |
