Ive only been caught for speeding once. Five years ago. 6kph over the limit on a 60 zone. Fuckers put the camera at the bottom of a steep hill. Since that time I have never been done for ANY traffic offence. Maybe one parking ticket.

D'oh!!! You can only be charged with reckless if they pull you over i think. That's unless you do something really special like crack the double, the cops tell the media who call for blood then you get fuked up. Guy went thru a nova near muchea at $1.90 or so. Don't know if they got him, but they were going to charge him after said media blew it into a shit storm

Bout as good as my $1000 fine and 14 demerit job just after they brought out bigger fines :/ fuckn double demerits!

At the risk of getting flamed by Mat, its your own fault.

And before you pipe in Mat, YES i have done this before, YES I have got caught, YES I have served my suspension, YES I ignored that, YES I got charged for driving while suspended, YES I got 9 months extra.

And you know what I learned from all this shite, IT AINT WORTH THE HEARTACHE. I'm not trying to be some dedicated christian do-gooder here, just someone to provide sensible advice here.

So all I have to say is 73 of the 100 or so road fatalities this year alone have been on country roads.

All true, but it only takes one person with a modified import/turbo/sports car to have a big accident and kill someone due to speeding and we all will be fingered at by media and police. As if most of us don't already have a hard enough time being pulled over for random licence/roadworthy tests already. Just drive safe is all I suggest.
