my99wrx at standard level
Default **stalling At Idle**

only prob i found with my 99 wrx is that some times when i am at idle after a period of time the car will stall on me does any one know what this could be its not always i got car on saturday just gone and had no problems and then sunday it was cuttin out after idlein for min or 2 but hav not let idle for while to check since prob let it run next time see but has any pne had or herd of this problem?

Learn to use punctuation marks / write properly pls..

Atmo BOV? Could be causing overfuelling /rough idle..

Edit: Most likely the MAF (Forgot to mention earlier - thanks to the others for mentioning)

Sounds like a classic sign of maff sensor failure to me buddy.
Get it checked before you do some serious damage.

If the revs are fluctuating to nearly stalling point then back up, and sometimes stalling, then probably the afm. Check it out asap before you plant your foot to the floor.

I had similar problems over the weekend. Was not fun to drive. Even during normal cruising I can feel that the car is struggling. Dropping it off at RMS this morning. Will find out what's wrong with it hopefully.

only when it idle other wise its ok and its only after idle for couple minutes
