mani press/vac lines
 

in an attempt to clean up my engine bay i have found a tidy way of routing manifold vac/press lines, just wondering how many "things" i can run of a single line?

ie: can i run; defi sensor, EBC sensor, haltech sensor, BOV without any effects on the boost gauge or whatnot.

the defi, EBC, and haltech sensor can all be run off one line. But id leave the BOV on its own line as that line generally has to be a bit larger to make the BOV react faster.

I remember you can buy this little thing that centralises all the vacuum lines into one neat little unit and helps to keep all the sensors reading the same value. Its called a "vacuum manifold" IIRC. Using many or mutliple T pieces on one vacuum line can result in minor differences in sensor values during pressure changes.

Looks something like that. Each one of those holes on the side, you can screw in a vacuum nipple and plug what ever you need into it. Any spare holes are plugged with a short bolt.

anything wanky like bovs, guages etc, can share a air line anywhere off the manifold.
anything important like fuel pressure regulators and manifold pressure sensors should be on separate central manifold feeds.
