Off to China for a month

Hi all, im off to china tonite for a month.

What has this got to do with General subaru you may ask?

Well apparently they have the new UGLY BETTY 08, so I will
be visiting my local subaru dealer for a peek asap.

I will post up pics as soon as I take them, also they get the US spec ones
so they should have sedan's.

I should take a PWRX sticker to whack on the windscreen :D

Later,

Wayne

Hey mate, be sure to keep us posted with whats good (car wise etc). I'll be there for the Formula 1 - so will have to check out any "must see" places.

So your going to Shanghai huh, i would rate this the best City in China
apart from Hong Kong.

shit loads of things to do, ive been there 4 times before.

Beijing i dont paticularly like due to the masive amount of pollution and i find the beijingese are rather rude.

Shanghai people are also rude but tolarable. ;)

Im in Shenyang at the moment which is in the Liaoning provence, its north east china near north korea.

This is where the missus oldies live.

Never in all my time in china have i ever come across any dog meat dishes in the major cities, countryside is a differant story though.

And for most of the menus being in chinese, its only in the small resturants.
Most large good resturants in shanghai and beijing have menus with mandarin and english. :D

Bali sells alot of dog meat and passes it off for other meat, my uncle lives there so he would know.

And its the BUND not the bunt hehe

as does phuket!

was there last year, and i had a dodgy burger, was speaking to a australian that had been living there for a few years, i told him what it had tasted like, where it was from, and what it looked like, and he had said that it was deffinately dog meat...

Stayed at the 'Le Royal Méridien Shanghai' Jan this yr, witness a restaurant selling dog meat 2 blocks away from my hotel, in a relatively sized restaurant. Which is also close to the 'BUND' :p

They would consume more than dog's meat in the country side.............
