WRX power specs (found on MRT forum)
169kw, 320Nm, with side air bags and HID lights. STi will not have side air bags, but does have Roof Vein spoiler, smaller bonnet scoop, Xenon lights plus rear diffuser.

doesn't make sense for the STi to not have side airbags when the WRX will, i think that is BS

Its most likely due to the design of the seats.
The seats will most likley be the same as the 05 model, its better than getting the USDM fatman seats with the side airbags which look more like a normal seat rather than a bucket.

yeah excellent point, oh well no side airbags give more options for retrimming interior i guess
