first of all when i posted this thread, i wanted suggestions from u guys for wht i m doing to the car when i get it. maybe some of the mods i would do to the car might be funny because u r all abt making yur car under 10sec. why cant u guys just tell me in a normal way? and i apologise to people who gets insulted from wht i m doing or from wht i have said.
FYI: yes i m a yr12 student at jtc but i m a mature 20 yrs old redoing his last years of study again. and YES i got my first driver linc in 2001.
secondly i didnt post this thread to show off, i have never own a turbo car before so i was asking for suggestions.
so pls be a little supportive and dont take things the wrong way.
and also i m not the type tht would put decals and stickers of brands on my car unless if they were sponsors.

Do whatever you want to the car - this is a forum filled ony with opinions, which I think is what you got in the replies sofar. Everyone has different goals in mind, and if yours is just looks then do what you have to do....

If your getting an STi, I'd suggest (and its only my opinion) hold off doing anything for a few months perhaps. The handling aspect may be addictive and you could end up wanting more out of it. Then all that you've spent on showy stuff would be a waste.

Sound system - yes.
Defi's - yeh, why not. Nice looks.
Everything else - no.

I don't think they're ugly. I think they have a tough look to them, but not ugly. If my wrx was ugly i wouldn't have bought it. Performance is good but if it looks like Mike Tyson after 12 rounds i'd prefer to buy something that looks a bit more attractive.

I say if you want to put a kick arse stereo, neons etc etc into your car. You go right ahead. Bottom line you want your car the way YOU like it, don't listen to all these other brainiac ideas/opinions "this is a performance club, not rice, if you dont like it, BYE BYE". All I can say is get fukd.
Everyones cars are individual and if there are people who wanna bag you over it cos you like the more visual side of it and less on the performance, well so be it.
But also as the others said, definately do research and look right into anything your going to do. As long as your happy and don't do things half arsed, it will be a very nice car.............regardless of what the other owners in here say who appear maybe that they are just jealous because they dont have an 06 sti.
