i think giddy meant, if after consistently trying to ping you without luck, he would then move onto aiming/speed checking the next vehicle. Not pinging the next vehicle for your speed.

Senario: I haven't done this b4 but was alway curious to know:

If u fly pass a handheld over the speed limit and they dont catch you there and then with a patrol car..can they still fine you after the fact, if they got your plates and speed but no photo evidence or a physical stop?

Interest to know if this has ever happened to anyone..not that i try it to find out...hahah
Nope

Still, the whole handheld thing still requires someone dumb enough to step in front of a tonne of steel moving at a higher speed than it should

the only way of avoiding getting done by laser is defeating it with an active jammer.

Max range on a laser is 1000m. Min is about 13m.

Negative, They are Legal in WA only but a lot of Police dont like you using them and usually tell you to unplug them and remove them. If you have them located to high up they can bust you as well.

I would love to see that proven in Court as well with all the Shit taxi drivers have on their dashes and even the average driver these days with GPS navigators.

I would be claiming "Victimisation" and doing some % vision loss measurements!!!

So all those running large FMIC's would have a nice large surface area to reflect the laser beam off !!!

Smaller number plate could only help as well.

I wonder how well the beam bounces off the Plastic front bumpers, less metallic paint there as well must help ?
