Went to Osborne Park today for a looksy. They had a WRB 06 STi there, and it looks good. I still prefer mine, but i'm a fan of the new STi. I like the conspicuous scoop on mine, the new one is too small

I plan to get the rear diffuser for my 05 STi, and the installment doesn't seem too hard. From what i've seen, 3 holes will need to be drilled into the spare tyre well, and hopefully the mounting brackets fit ok. But i don't like that thing on the rear window, looks bizarre.

Impressed nonetheless, i hope to see a few of these babies around soon.

sales person: can i be of any help?
me: g'day, just wondering what kind of turbo's on the new sti?
sales person: hmmm........i am not sure, i will just ask our "resident guru" for you.
me: thanks

skip the part where the "resident guru" not available until he comes back from the drive..............

sales person: sir, i've been informed by our "guru" (with a proud expression on his face), that the turbo on our new MY06 STI is an IHI turbo.
me: (stun & lost for words for a few seconds...........), ahhhh but exactly which model of the IHI turbo is it? (meanwhile trying not to burst out laughing)
sales person: let me check for you
me: thank you again

2 minutes gone by and the sales person came back...........

sales person: i am sorry sir, but we don't know
me: never mind
