What are the recommended spring rates Joe? (or anyone) Can those be specified?
Application is for street use only (MY03 WRX sedan), though I don't mind a ride on the firm side. Not sure about HS vs. HR either? Cheers - Nik |

All info is here, ive driven thodds car with the HSD's and loved em! |
Can you get them in Joe? I saw on the website that they go for around 1700 delivered. Do you go through otomoto.com.au?
If you go through the site I'll just order them on there, otherwise if you can get them local let me know and I'll get them from you. |
Spring rates can be swapped out to anything you like for no extra cost...although the stock spring rates are surprisingly comfortable and they work very well. Stock spring rates for GD are 9kg front and 7kg rear, and GC are 7kg front and 5kg rear.
HS is more forgiving than HR due to less aggressive valving, and has rubber bushes and fixed top plates (camber is adjusted via slotted holes in lower brackets). HR has pillow ball camber plates and stiffer valving, as well as a slightly bigger piston and shaft diameter. |
I can get these in, the HR's are $1499 and the HS's are $1299.
http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/showthread.php?t=10380 I'll have to check stock, because they only bring in a limited number of WRX coilovers and I normally sell them as fast as they can bring them in. |
awesome...can you let me know if you have any?
That would be sweet. Thanks Joe :D |
I have them in me bugeye, sick
