low 12's??
 

hey i have a stock 02 rex wid 3inch tbe, airfilter. I have $4k to spend on mods. I want to achieve low 12's. What parts would you guys sugest i need to put on to make this achievable thanks for your response... :rolleyes:

low 12's for 4k........ starting from basically stock......

might need to stretch your budget.

Low 12's on your car is quite a way away from 4 grand, budget at least 10k imo

yeah 4k seems a bit tight, but the first thing to do is SEARCH!! :D

you won't with 4k mate.

turbo, intake, headers, tune will cost alot more than 4k and even then you will struggle for a low 12.

4k could get you low 12s, but would you want to be able to drive your car after the 12?
strip the interior, remove the air cond and sound deadener and stick in 4k worth of nitrous you'd run a 12

sell you car, spend the 4k on cocain and buy a ripped vl turbo...........

On the other hand 4k will proberly get you, ECU ($1000),Pump($200),Injectors($500),Turbo($1000),Tune($1000) and maybe an STi TMIC($600) going over budget a little.

This MIGHT net you 12's. However expanding the budget a little more might get you a clutch after the first few runs of 6k sidestepping to get the 12's, and a new gearbox after flat changing 1st-2nd-3rd-4th.
