Park Light Globes

I have recently changed my driving lights to 'white' lights which have a blue film on the bulb. Are there any bulbs out there in this style so my park lights match? It looks kind of odd at the moment.

Ta,
Josh

yes, there is, i got my PIAA from alberts car audio in morley, not the cheapest place to go, they comes in LED which has concerntrated light beam or normal globe which have light spread all around. for the parkers, dun gey the led ones cos it looks crap

Narva make a Arctic blue wedge globe http://www.narva.com.au/Globes_14.html they are heaps cheaper than the PIAA which are about $40/pr.

careful tho, blue parkers are cop bait.

Josh 10-10-2005 12:33 PM

I don't want them blue, I wan't them white, not yellow. Is the arctic blue the one I want?

LegacyGT 10-10-2005 12:51 PM

sounds like the one. dont get the ones with the hypercolour gold tint on the globe. i tried those and they look aweful

BALISTC 10-10-2005 01:07 PM

DONT get red park globes.

Some knob was driving down Main St the other night in his VS Commodore, with no headlights and just his red parkers switched on....at first, I thought it was a car on the wrong side of the road!!!

If I was a cop, I would have reamed that fucker for being a retard who does retarded mods!

Led's look ok in the parkers, you can get white ones which will give you the look your aiming for.

Sethor 10-10-2005 01:21 PM

The Narva ones are ADR approved they are a 4000K rating which is only just has a light blue look same as their arctic blue headlight globes. They roughly go for $6.60/pair. http://www.narva.com.au/Globes_22.html

have used the narva arctics before...they still look yellow although better than stock parkers

didn't look that good on mine, it made the whole parker look blue. the blue that will make cops pull me over.

swapped in the normal wedge globe, looks white and normal.

just wondering, how on earth do you change the park globes? it seems impossible to me.

unscrewing the entire bugeye headlight will make it easier. then just twist them out of the housing at back of headlight and remove/replace wedge light.

I just replaced all my front lights with Blue Vision bulbs (LB, HB, Foggies & parkers). Had Arctic Blue bulbs in beforehand, and can notice a fair difference, a more pure white as opposed to yellowy white. I did the LBs and HBs myself but elected to pay the $35 to have Subaru put the foggies and parkers in.

i got some white LED ones from ebay

they cost $5 or something and matched the HIDs really well
