2008 Sti = $75K

Thats with all on road costs. Seems a tad steep.

Does that include the Government Luxury Tax as well?

Is that also the R-Comp version

Trexx 23-01-2008 05:33 PM

Does it come with a padlock in that price?

Rexxar 23-01-2008 05:39 PM

i think thats optional...

Kato 23-01-2008 05:44 PM

I'd like to know how you got that price.

muggz 23-01-2008 05:46 PM

better off with a 2nd hand E46 M3 Bimmer!

Kato 23-01-2008 05:49 PM

The price of the new STi is what has put me off buying one so far. As Muggz said, so many awesome cars available second hand for nearly that kinda money.

TopGear 23-01-2008 05:56 PM

haha thats a joke hey I wonder how much the evo 10 will sell for.

Darken 23-01-2008 05:59 PM

Subaru will have to sharpen their pencils a bit more if they want to compete in today's market! Volume sales obviously isn't in their marketing plan!

Oops I forgot to say! Why does the movie The Castle come to mind! "Tell em their dreamin" Hahaha

Can anyone confirm this price? 75k I highly doubt, that is a 13.5k rise from what I paid for my 06 STi and a 12k rise from what Al paid for his (never have got over that Al :D). Seems very very very steep for a car that in all honesty, Subaru have to be speculating over given the dramatic change in styling.
