Default 04 STi ECU fits 03 wrx?

guyss...

im totally confused.
spoke to RT, they said the 04 sti ecu will fit to 03 wrx
spoke to MMS, they said it wont fit
spoke to MRT, they said it wont fit

its 04 sti ecu with tek3 on it and ill get it retuned if it fits my car

which one is correct?
anyone can help me out?

i really don't see why it wont fit, especially with ECUTek 3 which can be retuned again............

maybe they are getting it confused with 05 STi's extra wiring for DCCD? wild guess.

can't you take the ecu to RT/MMS, plug it in and see if it works - if it does, buy it, if not...

The Sti has more sensors which the WRX will not have like air intake temp and a factory ecu will not allow the engine to start if a sensor is not connected.

The DCCD runs its own standalone ECU.
