Brant Anti Hijack - To Enable
 

Hi Guys,

Can someone please PM details on how to enable Anti-Hijack, have a feeling it has been switched off since the alarm module was replaced. For an 05.

i think mine is also switched off aswell. how do i turn it on and use it?

my mate needs to input a code before he drives everytime, but i never do.

i would not mind this for a while until it eventually annoyed me and i turn it off myself :P

You only need to put in the code if you take off your seatbelt and open your door before you turn off the motor.

If you turn it off before you open the door and take yer belt off, you will not be required to put the PIN in - Well that's how mine works anyways.

I basically make a decision based on where i park the car as to whether i enable it or not.

So you'd leave your car running outside and run back inside to get your
wallet?

Its there for a reason and if they time ever came and someone did jack
your car and you'd turned it off you would never forgive yourself.

Happened to my mum in 2005 (car was used in 7 robberies, cops picked them up driving around Vic park) and have heard of many attempted carjackings from friends (mainly female).
