if you have a custom tune i wouldnt worry about getting the reflash, other than having it noted on your cars history that it was done.
I called subaru australia today and they said they were aware of this but have not been given the direction to do anything on the cars delivered to australia....but then they might change their tune in a week or two :P mines getting a custom tune next weekend so i am not too bothered, btu you should see how the guys in the states are going off about this! |

On my car it changed the fuel cut from a harsh cut to a soft cut - AFR are changed during the cut off but the soft cut will need to be installed - I have the new engine to prove it!
I dont believe you need to hit the fuel cut many times to cause this failure - my experience anyway.
