Except is it not the same fuel from the same tank. BP provides fuel to make the Vortex 98, but it is not the same formula.

Each to their own I guess. I've worked extensively in the CSBP yard (surveyor), and live with a bloke who drives for Mitchels. Everyone I've talked to has suggested that both mitchells U98 trucks and caltex 98RON trucks fill up at the same stand and deliver the exact same product.

That's just me, afterall, this is the interweb, and people are guaranteed to have their own opinion.

Yeah I thought it was the same for a while, but knowing the engineers who work on it they have told me it is a different process for each fuel.

read your manual mine says 95 or 98 inside the tank cover it says 98
vortex 95 & 98 i have been told is the same fuel just different octane.
my car runs on both no difference
